Instructor Biographies
Mollie Myers
Mollie is the resident goldsmith/jewelry artist at Studio Ag. She handcrafts jewelry and small scale sculpture utilizing a variety of jewelry mediums. She is an experienced goldsmith and certified precious metal clay artist who has worked professionally in both commercial jewelry and conceptual art jewelry. Mollie has always loved teaching and has had formal training in education, graduating from Goucher College in 2002, with a degree in Education, Art, & Spanish. Mollie combines her love of art and education in her role as the primary jewelry instructor at Studio Ag. She enjoys watching students acquire new techniques that they incorporate into their own visual vocabulary, leading to the creation of their own bodies of work. Mollie is currently serving as the Vice Chair Person for the Metals Guild of Maryland, ahs served as the President of the Baltimore Chapter of the Precious Metal Clay GUild, and is a member of The Society of North American Goldsmiths and the International Precious Metal Clay Guild. Mollie is currently working towards her Masters Registry in Metal Clay.

Saturday, November 28th from 10am-4pm: Precious Metal Clay Designer Jewelry Set
Join us to make a fine silver set of jewelry (earrings, pendant, and bracelet) that you design yourself. We will use precious metal clay to create interesting texture and shape combinations. No previous experience required. All tools are provided for your use during the workshop and the cost of precious metal clay is included in the price of the workshop.
Sunday, November 29th from 11am - 2pm: Chainmaille Christmas Ornament
Add a medieval touch to your Christmas tree with these beautiful ornaments. You may choose from red or purple ornaments or bring an ornament from home to coordinate with your holiday decor. No experience necessary. All tools are provided for your use during the workshop and the cost of bright aluminum jump rings or anodized aluminum jump rings are included in the price of the workshop.
Saturday, December 5th from 10am - 2pm: European 4-in-1 Chainmaille Workshop
Create a bracelet that both a knight and princess would be proud to wear. This style of chainmaille was originally used as armour, but today we most commonly use it to create jewelry. It lays flat and is as nice to touch as it is beautiful to look at. No experience necessary. All tools are provided for your use during the workshop and the cost of bright aluminum jump rings are included in the price of the workshop.
Sunday, December 6th from 11am - 5pm: PMC Mezuzah (or Reliquary) Workshop
We will use fine silver Precious Metal Clay and contrasting textures to create a beautiful Mezuzah that you can hang proudly on your door. Another option is to make a hollowform pendant or reliquary. No experience necessary. All tools are provided for your use during the workshop and the cost of materials are included in the price of the workshop.
Saturday, December 12th from 10am - 4pm: PMC Pendant with Stone
Join us to create an chic 3-dimensional pendant with various textures and a fired in place gemstone. These pendants are reversible, so you’re getting two pendants for the price of one! No experience necessary. All tools are provided for your use during the workshop and the cost of materials are included in the price of the workshop.
Sunday, December 13th from 11am - 2pm: Helm Flower Workshop
Create this geometric chainmaille pattern to use as a pendant, decorative wall hanging, or ornament for your Christmas tree. This pattern is based on symmetry and the pattern is built in pairs. If you’ve never tried your hand at chainmaille with captive rings, give this a try! No experience necessary. All tools are provided for your use during the workshop and the cost of bright aluminum jump rings are included in the price of the workshop.
